Lessons FAQ

Where are the lesson plans for the movies?

We have every intention of expanding our lesson plans to include the four movies of the Indiana Jones series. Currently, our emphasis is on The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones as this series is rich in early 20th Century history and leads to a wider range of uses in a classroom setting. Once our Young Indy lessons are well-developed and complete, we plan to turn our attention to the four movies.

I noticed there weren't many lessons for Young Indy, are you going to add more?

Developing this website and the lessons that go with it is a priority; however, this is a hobby and a project that is developed in our extra time (most of you know that teachers don't have a lot of extra time). New content will be added as it is developed and we hope that you will continue to check back regularly for updates.

Can we expect lessons outside of the movies and Young Indy series?

It is our goal to expand lessons to include original ideas based around the character of Indiana Jones. The Marshall College Expeditions (linked above) are an indicator of the types of original lessons that will be developed in the future.

Is there a fee for using this website?

At the present time, there are no fees associated with using indyintheclassroom.com. All resources and lesson plans currently provided are available to be used with no charge.

Can I submit lesson plans and have them posted?

The answer to this question is still being debated. Keep checking back for a decision on this matter. In the meantime, please do not send lesson plans, etc. We do, however, value your input on the website. Head to the Comments page to give us feedback.
