Is Indy 5 on the Horizon?

The dream of Indy 5 is now more alive than ever! It was recently announced that Disney has acquired the distribution rights for the series from Paramount. It seems there would only be one reason why Disney would make such an investment and that would be Indy's return to the big screen. The earning potential for a new film is certainly viable considering that Kingdom of the Crystal Skull earned over $700 million in 2008 and the overall series has grossed nearly $2 billion. Although obstacles like Ford, Spielberg, and Lucas agreeing on a script will likely hamper development, it seems appropriate to think Fedoras and bullwhips are already being dusted off in the LucasFilm archives. 2014 should prove to be an exciting year for Indy fans around the world!
